《美人鱼》由周星驰擔任总制片、监制、编剧、导演的中国電影。於2014年7月開拍，年底殺青。本片於2016年2月8日（大年初一）上映。2016年2月19日，在上映的第12天，仅仅是中国大陆的票房已超过了24.8亿人民币，成为中国大陆有史以来票房最高的电影，而目前票房已經超過33億，是中国票房首部过33亿的电影。而在2016年3月，《美人魚》以全球5.53亿美元票房正式成為世界史上最高票房的非好莱坞電影。

The Mermaid is a 2016 Chinese–Hong Kong science fantasy romantic comedy film directed, co-written, and co-produced by Stephen Chow.

The film tells the story of a playboy businessman (Deng Chao) who falls in love with a mermaid (Lin Yun) who was sent to assassinate him.

It was released in China on 8 February 2016. It broke numerous box office records such as the biggest opening day and the biggest single day gross through its seventh day of release and having the biggest opening week of all time in China. On 19 February, it became the highest-grossing Chinese film of all time.
